THE GRID – EUROPE DIVISON

Jonathan Mazzeo was born in Florence on September 3rd, 1985. He started studying piano when he was 7 years old. When 15, he starts playing guitar. His career as a musician starts in 2007 when he release his first album with his band Bleed Someone Dry “The World Is Falling In Tragedy”, published by UK Division.

A series of live shows follows the release of the album and the band plays more than 80 gigs in the first year after the release.

In 2009, Jonathan decided to start his business as a sound engineer and he founded MathLab Recording Studio. Thanks to MathLab Recording Studio, he started building a network of relationships with musicians and bands around Europe.

In 2010 he starts his collaboration as session guitarist and producer with the Norwegian band The Way Of Purity. An European tour with Negura Bunget (Romania) follows the release of their first album “Crosscore”. With The Way Of Purity Jonathan plays at some of the most important music festivals in Europe like Bloodstock Festival (UK), Deathfest (UK) and Exit Festival (Serbia).

In 2014 Bleed Someone Dry release their second studio album “Subjects”, published by WormHoleDeath. The band organize a Russian tour to promote their album, supporting the band I Declare War (US).

In the summer of 2014, Bleed Someone Dry enter the studio work on their next album “Post Mortem |Veritas”, produced by Christian Donaldson (The Agonist, Cryptopsy, Despided Icon, Beneath The Massacre) and recorded at MathLab Recording Studio.

Lately, Jonathan has started a collaboration with The Grid Studio to make it easier for bands in Europe who wish to access The Grid services.
